In the current climate, this role combines working both remotely and at our Manchester HQ, with much of the initial contact via phone and digital comms, and building strong relationships with our channel partner will also be important. This role is focused on new business, and you will thrive on the challenge of identifying sales opportunities and turning new contacts into long term business relationships.

Applicants should have the following experience and characteristics:

  • Proven new business / hunter skills, with experience of working with third party channel partners
  • Can clearly demonstrate 3-5 years’ success in selling solutions based on value not price; within one or more for the following market sectors – Digital / Technology marketing, FMCG, Gaming, Toys, Sport, Media…
  • Can negotiate effectively and build strong and deep relationships at Board level

You will be supporting our growing Data Science and Development teams to identify challenges and deliver data-driven solutions, products and services based on user needs and business objectives. Success in this role could lead to you re-joining the business when you graduate.

This role is a hands-on, technical position with the successful candidate writing code, analysing and cleansing data and providing robust solutions to real-world business problems.

 

You will have skills and understanding of several technologies such as data analysis, software engineering and have some experience generating, storing, analysing, and presenting data.

 

Throughout the placement you will have the opportunity to develop these skills by working on real-life projects within the business. In addition, problem solving (with a can-do attitude), a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail are all pre-requisites.

Although you’ll be joining us to showcase and develop further your technical expertise, we really hope you’ll take an interest in the wider aspects of our business and people and want to get involved in our team based culture.

This is a new post and in the current climate, will combine working both remotely and at our Manchester HQ. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of client contracts and partnership agreements and should have a minimum of 2 years relevant, post-qualification experience. 

This will require a few hours a week on an ad hoc basis, and would be suitable for working around other commitments.

As a Graphic Designer with experience of working in a B2B environment, you are used to working with a range of media including creative graphics, web design and videography and have an adaptable skillset.

Your creativity, dedication and work ethic provide you with the natural ability to deliver fantastic creative and design into our online and offline communications.  Your excellent attention to detail is reflected in the high quality and accurate work you produce.

You have strong communication skills and can present your ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders, often managing multiple stakeholder needs.  You will be an energetic, passionate and driven member of the marketing team, invested in the success of our business. 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. Ownership of The Insights People asset library

This will include updating existing materials as well as designing and creating new materials.  Materials typically include:

  • Presentations
  • Product factsheets, reports and brochures
  • Imagery for website and social media channels
  • Infographics
  1. The Insights People brand

You will ensure that all communications reflect the brand positively and accurately.

  1. Video Production

This will include recording and editing video blogs & interviews, reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing, smooth running of the video and writing voiceover/commentary.  It will also include experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements & animations.

Key Technical skills required:

  • thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects and Premiere, Final Cut Pro.
  • thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Products, including PowerPoint and Word
  • ability to update aspects of The Insights People using WordPress and basic coding – HTML, CSS, Email
  • competent photographer
  • able to film and edit footage of events/team/customer testimonials within our house style parameters.
  • Able to understand and apply design principles to web design, including the production of wireframes and mock-ups 

Applicants should also have the following experience and characteristics:

  • Commercial experience of working in a B2B organisation or with B2B clients
  • Experience of having worked in an in-house design capacity would be advantageous
  • Creative experience across all media channels, including online and offline media
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing time and resource effectively to hit often tight deadlines
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
