The Insights People are delighted to announce the appointment of Deborah Maclaren to their Advisory Board. Deborah joins several other industry professionals including, Nikki Samuels, CEO at FACTORY, Ken Faier, CEO of Epic Story Media and Andrew Baker, former ITV executive as members of The Insights People Advisory Board. Not to mention the recent appointment of Stefan Lampinen as chairman of the company, Deborah joins now at a time of excelling growth both internally and externally.

Deborah is no stranger to the company, having held the position of Commercial Director at The Insights People from September 2017 to March 2020. This has meant that she has seen firsthand the substantial growth which the company has achieved since its founding in 2017 and how the company has grown internally as well as entering new markets over the years.

In March 2020, Deborah left her position as Commercial Director at The Insights People to focus on her role as Managing Director of the UK’s leading book recommendation websites, LoveReading, LoveReading4Kids and LoveReading4Schools. These three websites provide a platform to recommend books and encourage a love of reading for pleasure in everyone particularly in children and they are surely very lucky to have Deborah on their respective teams.

Deborah has an impeccable resumé with over 25 years’ experience in the media and publishing industries, providing regular insights and advice to companies in the sectors. Deborah now brings a new and unique perspective to the Advisory Board and in this new role she will be able to use her extensive experiences to contribute to the decision-making process for The Insights People.

Kids Insights will also be hosting a free webinar titled “Opportunities for Retail and Licensing in a Digital Centric World” taking place on 17th September at 4pm. The webinar will feature a presentation and discussion from Nick Richardson, CEO of Kids Insights and Ian Shepherd, Founder and CEO of The Social Store.
